Jenny is an admitted attorney with 12-years of commercial experience, the bulk of which has been in the Financial Services Industry where she has served as a Legal Advisor, Compliance Officer and has managed Governance and Risk Management functions. Her previous experience includes stints as the Group Legal and Compliance Advisor for the Telesure Group (Holding company of Auto and General, Hippo, First for women, 1Life Direct, etc.) and managing the Legal, Compliance, Risk Management and Governance functions within Coface South Africa, a multi-national trade credit insurer at which she gained exposure to international law and processes and tools used internationally in terms of risk management, governance and compliance.
She has also been employed at Liberty Africa where she headed the Compliance function for 15 businesses in 10 African countries in addition to having been employed at a commercial law firm where she practised as a commercial attorney.
