Mr Sharneck is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ of senior leadership experience across a range of industries, the most recent of which is mining. Through his career, he has worked to lead and developed a dynamic and culturally diverse finance team; implementing decision support driven reporting; putting in place institutionalised risk and capital management as well as business planning and forecasting processes, whilst also contributing to the development and achievement of key strategic organisational business objectives.
Since leaving the mining sector, Mr Sharneck has undertaken a number of directorships, chairing the Audit Committees of niche operators in the short-term and long-term insurance industry. Additionally, he has joined the boards of a couple of Non-Profit Organisations with the intent of adding his financial expertise and experience in governance to these organisations.
